I read a fairly recent article from Business Week that really touched on the concept of "The New Consumer". I thought the article did a good job of touching on the reality that marketing and advertising are definately undergoing a renaissance as technology grows. I think in the face of the hard economic times we face today companies are being forced to find new ways to get their products/services out to the customer with more cost effective means. It is interesting to see what companies are doing to reach customers in the digital age and what seems to work and what doesn't. The latest method to reach customers seems to be through phones and social networks. I think it will be interesting to see what new methods marketing companies will come up with in the face of one of the worst recessions we have ever seen. Below is the article...Enjoy!
